Senior Citizen Bingo


Senior Citizen Bingo is the first Tuesday of every month starting at 12 noon.  It is at the Hazen Senior Citizen Center located at 607 McDonald St.  We buy wonderful prizes for the home, so come out and have some fun with us!!

Hazen Senior Citizen Center


The Hazen Senior Citizen Center is now open from 9:00 a.m.- 2:00p.m.  They serve lunch daily between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00p.m.  The City of Hazen hosts a bingo on the first Tuesday of every month.  There is an additional bingo on the second Tuesday of the month given by the Senior Health and Wellness group.  They will be playing games throughout the week.  Come and eat with us and play some games!

Extra Trash Pick Up Day


The City of Hazen provides large trash pickup day on the third Tuesday of every month.  Please be reminded to put items out only a day or two before pick up.  Items need to be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. the day of big trash pick up.  In addition, please remember that items such as concrete, batteries, paint, remodeling items, leaves and limbs etc. will NOT be picked up! If you have any questions about an item to be picked up, please call City of Hazen @ 870-255-4521.

Ordinance No. 509- Maintaining ditches


The City of Hazen passed Ordinance No. 509 which states that the owners or occupants of any lot or lots are responsible for keeping their ditches clean and clear of all obstructions to the free flow of water.  All persons are hereby prohibited from depostiing anything that will obstruct the free flow of water which includes trash, limbs, leaves or anything that could cause an obstruction.  Also please be reminded that it is the owner or occupant's responsibility to keep ditches mowed.
